Public Notice to Owners of a Sony "Cyber-shot" DSC-W170 Digital Still Camera.

Sony has recently discovered that, with a limited number of its Digital Still Camera "Cyber-shot" DSC-W170 released on the market in April 2008, the possibility exists that small particles of metal plating may peel off from the casing part surrounding the lens.

In its continuous effort to ensure customer satisfaction, Sony will offer a free of charge replacement of the casing containing the applicable part surrounding the lens.
